ME 65C
The
ME 65C introduced Marlow
Explorer Yachts to the world in 2001. It has been, and continues to be, a very popular
model. Because of our superior architecture eliminating the need for interior
bulkheads, we can satisfy the layout needs of all of our owners. This yacht has a spacious saloon
with wet bar and entertainment center and either a dining room or library at
deck level. Up two steps to the pilothouse, you will find a gourmet galley with
top of the line appliances,
a lower helm station with a full array of instruments and a plush dinette
capable of seating a crowd or embracing two for an intimate dinner. The three staterooms
all enjoy deluxe heads with granite or Corian counters, china sinks, Grohe
Infinity fixtures, Lexan shower doors and mirrored ceilings. There is quite a bit of latitude in how these are configured. The
owners have the option of entering their master stateroom through the forward
companionway or through a private entry through the library. In the master
stateroom you will find a king-sized bed, ample cedar-lined hanging locker
space, twin night stands, a variety of drawers and storage lockers, creative
lighting, and a sunken area aft for a unique office space, vanity or laundry
area. The VIP has a queen-sized bed and the guest stateroom has upper and lower
bunks with a hanging locker and drawers under the beds. A very comfortable
crew quarters is found below the aft deck with twin bunks and full head. This can be fitted with a small
refrigerator and microwave for convenience. Both the covered aft deck and
flybridge are large and suitable for gracious entertaining with a built in grill
and additional refrigerator/icemaker.
The
reintroduction of the ME65C in 2006 brings Marlow Explorer's credo "Each
one better than the one before" into the spotlight. The new ME 65C has shed
4,500 pounds due to the use of our proprietary RIVAT©
system of lamination, a registered acronym for resin-infused vacuum assisted
transfer in the construction of the yacht. The weight loss results in
increased strength, greater fuel efficiency and better performance for the
yacht. In the factory, after the initial investment in new tooling and
machinery, a savings was seen in the number of man-hours and materials. The new
65C can explore much farther due to the increased fuel capacity and the lighter
weight. A unique fuel-delivery system on the new 65C employs a single valve to
direct all fuel distribution, significantly increasing efficiency. The exhaust
system has been modified for extremely quiet operation by counteracting the
higher sound levels created by the revolutionary turbo engines. Farther and
quieter! In the engine room, several significant changes have enhanced this new
65C. A sophisticated air intake system eradicates moisture and salt limiting
damage from these insidious elements. A new system of mounting the engines on
stainless steel mounts running across the tops of the fore and aft stringers has
resulted in decreased vibration while spreading the weight load of the engines
over a greater area of the yacht.
Standard Layout 65C & 70E

ME 70E

The ME 70E brings the European
transom styling to the 65C, while featuring the same interior configurations,
the same luxurious furnishings and the same outstanding architecture. The Euro
transom is a styling preference that provides a slightly longer yacht, a larger
swim platform and a stairway to the aft deck that is as elegant as it is
functional.

Our newest addition to the
fleet - 70E Command Bridge (CB)
The
Marlow Explorer 70E COMMAND BRIDGE
made her debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2006 and is the latest model in the Marlow fleet. This very capable offshore
cruising yacht is powered with CAT C18’s, delivering a top speed of just over 26
Knots, and cruises at 23 knots yet sips just 9 GPH at 8.3 knots giving
her a displacement speed range of over 1,700 statue miles. Her certification is
CE certification by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for Category A (Ocean).
With impeccable level of finish throughout and built to the strictest standards,
the Marlow 70E COMMAND BRIDGE is filled with the notable touches of luxury that
brand these yachts “perfection”. This is the first model of the series to debut a
drop dead gorgeous high gloss teak interior. Only Kevlar, core cell and
engineered construction fabrics are specified for the hull. This debut Explorer
70E COMMAND BRIDGE is also equipped with two Northern Lights 20KW gensets to
accommodate an extended offshore cruise in total comfort.

The high gloss finish on this
model creates a contemporary styling while still maintaining the very classic
and elegant design of the Marlow Explorer.

The command bridge has eliminated
the need for a lower station allowing for a grand dinette with seating for
eight. The galley is in the traditional u-shaped layout in the aft part of the
pilothouse. The command bridge has its own wet bar and refrigerator for
convenience and a large lounge area for very comfortable gatherings.
Below decks, there are three well
appointed staterooms. The master glows with recessed lighting, extensive hanging
locker space and beautiful cabinetry. There is a sunken area that serves a an
office or laundry area. Either configuration features meticulously finished
storage lockers inside and out.

The VIP is a luxurious retreat
for your guests with its glowing cabinetry, queen size bed and private head. Our
signature detailing is evident throughout - from the curved Lexan shower door to
the lovely Grohe Infinity fixtures.
